Feliz Ano Nuevo!!!
Our trip to the magical shores of the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica for Jerry Joseph & the Jackmormons New Year's celebration in the beautiful jungle/beach town of Puerto Jimenez is over, and we are settling back into the winter rain that we love here in Oregon.
The trip was amazing, as were the shows - as always, we have the recordings to prove it.
We are offering the entire three-night run of shows (two electric, one acoustic) for the package price of $55 (includes shipping). The two electric shows are from the majestic Club Mango Real in Puerto Jimenez, and the acoustic show is from one of the most beautiful houses in the Osa, the luxurious Casa Rio Sombrero - a pool, a deck, a beach, a bar (Lizano Bloodys, monkeys, macaws, and all your friends) - what more does one need?
Real Image was incredibly busy the last few months - we are incredibly blessed to have worked with the world's leading political music band, Michael Franti & Spearhead. Encompassing three nights, the Harvest Ball was held at the legendary Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. Guest performances abound, but the truly special moments came on Sunday afternoon, when the Fillmore and Spearhead all donated their time to hold an amazing Children's Matinee Show featuring face painting, kite-making, weaving, and other family-friendly crafts and activities before Michael and the band sitting down to the most positive-energy music performance we have ever recorded. As Michael said "to see children waving their hands in the air from their parent's shoulders (at the FILLMORE) simply must be seen to be believed." You will have to wait till next year to see it for yourself, but you can listen to it by ordering the discs directly from the band at SPEARHEADVIBRATIONS.com.
Real Image Recording also provided live recording and duplication to the fantastic new lineup of the Steve Kimock Band. Featuring Rodney Holmes on drums, Reed Mathis on bass, and Robert Walter on organ - this band is a true musical force to be reckoned with. These gentlemen play some of the finest-sounding instruments we have ever heard.
Joining the Real Image family is the knockout kid - Elias Keane Beatty.
Leaving us is our long-time mascot - Beans Brown Beatty. RIP.
Continuing on with us is DigitalSoundboard - providing our customers with download technology to the shows we have recorded. We love them so - thanks guys!
Check the store for the December Jackmormons run, as well as the Crystal Ballroom record release show featuring Steven Drizos, Steve James, and Jennee Conlee from The Decemberists completing the largest Jackmormon arrangement that Jerry has ever put together - it's quite a show!

We dedicate our selves and our mission to the memory of RL Burnside, who passed away September 1st.
